On Saturday night, Drew Daniel attended the third annual Republicans and the Redbirds fundraiser at Autozone Park. The event benefits the Shelby County Young Republicans. While the Redbirds lost that night, the YR’s picked up around $1,500 thanks to the attendees and generous sponsorships. The annual fundraiser was started during Drew’s first term as Chairman of the Shelby County YR’s and has raised over $5,000 for the club since its inception.

Drew Daniel will visit the Williamson County Young Republicans at their June meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, June 14th at Guido’s near Cool Springs. The social hour starts at 6:30 p.m., and the actual meeting will start at 7 p.m. Reuben Watkins, candidate for TYRF vice-chairman, will also be in attendance. Guest speakers include: Williamson County General Sessions Judge Lonnie Hoover and State Representative Brian Kelsey (Germantown).
