- Jack Daniel will secure the reservations with your credit or debit card and charge it when you arrive.
- RSVPs must be made with Jack Daniel Events Planner Christy Mitchell (see contact info below)
- If you feel comfortable with e-mail, you can e-mail your card to Christy.

- Remember that Lynchburg is in a dry county with no Jack Daniels consumption allowed. Darn!
Middle TN Director (and Cheatham County chair) Perry Keenan has also made arrangements through Christy to have Master Distiller Jimmy Bedford autograph bottles of your favorite spirit. Unfortunately, Jimmy will be at a NASCAR event with the Jack Daniels car that weekend. However, we can leave the bottles there for Jimmy to sign and can be picked up at a later date (due to laws & ordinances, no bottles can be shipped but can be purchased & picked up on site).

Make sure to tell them you are part of the Tennessee Young Republicans!
Again, this event is open to all YRs! This will be a nice way to celebrate the winning of the August 3rd election (and a nice break before the November elections).
Many Tennessee Young Republicans across the state (from Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, and Kingsport) volunteered in numerous capacities for the 2006 Tennessee Republican Party Statesmen’s Dinner at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville! The featured speakers were former U.S. Senator Fred Thompson and current U.S. Senators Lamar Alexander and Bill Frist. All major U.S. Senate candidates (Ed Bryant, Bob Corker, and Van Hilleary) were present along with gubernatorial candidate Jim Bryson, the man who will unseat Democrat Governor Phil Bredesen in November! YRs attended Bryson’s reception following the Statesmen’s Dinner.
After the Statesmen’s Dinner, many YRs headed to Dave and Buster’s for a fun social event. Special thank you to Middle TN
Director (and Cheatham County YR chair) Perry Keenan for laying out a great event at Dave and Buster’s. With state primary and county general elections coming up in August, the Statesmen’s Dinner, followed by Dave and Buster’s , allowed YRs to take a quick break from the campaign trail!
The Tennessee YR web site, tennesseetomorrow.com, won a award from the Young Republican National Federation for the best state Young Republican Federation web site for 2005! A special thank you goes to the web site designer, Don Johnson, for a job well done! At the 2nd quarter board meeting in Memphis, the Tennessee YRs approved charters for two clubs in upper east Tennessee, Washington and Sullivan Counties. Chairmen Kim Cordell (Washington County) and Shaylah Miller (Sullivan County) have worked hard to get their organizations going. These counties represent the Tri-Cities area in upper east Tennessee. The chartering of these clubs brings the total number of chartered clubs in Tennessee to 13. There are YR clubs now in all of the major metropolitan areas (Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Clarksville, and the Tri-Cities). Congratulations to these two new clubs!
The Lauderdale County Young Republicans (one hour north of Memphis) will host an organizational meeting on Thursday, July 13th at 7 p.m. at Olympic Steak House in Ripley. Olympic Steak House is on Highway 51 across from Wal-Mart. State Senator Mark Norris and Lauderdale GOP Chairman Trent McManus will be present. Walker Ferrell is organizing the efforts and doing an awesome job! If you have any questions about the meeting and/or want to attend, contact Walker at walker_ferrell@yahoo.com.
